Port of Bar’s first electric vehicle was first time tested on MultiAPPRO international travel (SC and ITN meeting in Ploče)

Port of Bar purchased its first electric vehicle through Interreg MED project EnerNETMob and it was first tested for MultiAPPRO travel to 6^th SC meeting in Ploče.

Representatives of Port of Bar along with the representative of Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro (member of ITN) traveled with the electric vehicle from Bar to Ploče with stops in Dubrovnik for charging, for the total travel of 528 km.

This action represents first steps in electromobility for Montenegro which is in the earliest phase of developing electromobility in accordance with EU regulations. Port of Bar plays integral role in the development of these activities as they are engaging in actions that protect the environment, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote electromobility and ICT systems.
