On 10th June 2022, KIP (Intermodal Transport Cluster) organised its national meeting as part of the European co-founded MultiAPPRO PLUS project in the framework of INTERREG Adriatic-Ionian ADRION Programme. The event took place at University of Zadar, Croatia.
The meeting aimed at discussing the project MultiAPPRO PLUS by giving a general description on its main topics, such as the promotion and incentivisation of intermodal transport in the Adriatic-Ionian region, as well as a widespread overoverview of the major goals achieved within the project lifetime, including the enlargement of ITN (intermodal Transport Network) and Port of Bar’s development of the mobile application, outputs established thanks to a prior study on the different bottlenecks. During the presentation, an analysis concerning the possible future uses of the obtained results has been carried out. At the end of the meeting, the presenters give space to a “Q&A” session in order to create a constructive debate with the present attendees, 35 in total.
Over the course of the meeting, KIP also presented a similar project to MultiAPPRO PLUS, that is to say NEWBARIN PLUS, with discussions on the objectives and achievements.
